Its a book that deals on a practical and spiritual level with why you dont have the body you want and why, more importantly, youre not happy within your own skin. Its an easy to read, little but powerful solution to a problem that so many suffer with._________________________________________________________________What people are saying:I started to read your book last night and found it very profound and thought provoking. It is like a switch of positivity being turned on!I have passed it on to a friend who, though not particularly over weight but is constantly, like me, wanting to lose some weight, has issues with her self image and has had quite a lot of trauma in her life.Ive uncovered some new things this week with regard to my negative beliefs and fears. For example, I do actually compare myself to friends, colleagues and magazine models more than I think. When I first read chapters 1-4 I thought, oh yeah, Ive been on spiritual path for some time now and have moved beyond comparing myself and having negative thoughts but honestly, Ive caught myself out a number of times having negative thoughts related to my appearance, my body and my performance at work. And it is soooo easy to fall into the habit of noticing those little flaws on an off day. I thought I was doing pretty well with accepting my body but didnt realise how much more I could help myself out by going through the three steps in week one.The book has been really helpful in allowing me to listen to my body and intuition again. Ive been on diets in the recent past and found myself becoming obsessed with food. In the end, I think I ate more than I even needed and possibly ate the wrong foods for me, too. Going through the process with the book has allowed me to trust myself when it comes to the decisions I make about food and exercise. Its also been a really nice way to activate my will power again - without placing rigid rules on myself but rather go with the shifting needs of my body.
